When stepping in and out of the bath tub or shower cubicle you tend to leave big puddles on those bathrooms floors. The same goes for wet rooms or the areas around swimming pools. The water drips from your body and gathers in big pools beneath you. If you've used lino or plain, smooth tiles those floors become slippery death traps. You might as well have an ice rink in your home. They're especially troublesome for young children or the elderly. Why not make your floors safe with the help of some anti-slip tiles? Then you can rest assured that your loved ones are safe when vacating their daily wash. It doesn't cost a lot to buy non slip tiles and there are plenty of stylish options to choose from.

Hundreds of style possibilities

When you think of the words anti-slip or non slip, you tend to think of the grim, grey, gritty tiles from nineties swimming pool changing rooms. But that simply isn't the case anymore. There's a whole world of different anti -slip tiles for you to discover! Different materials, different colours, shapes and sizes - different textures and grades.

The possibilities are simply endless!

Slate effect tiles tend to have a great anti slip surface. They're also very chic and modern and will completely transform the look of your floors. Kuala tiles are made from high quality porcelain and are very durable; perfect for the heavy foot traffic you get traipsing in and out of a bathroom. They perfectly resemble slate. It's an extremely realistic effect. Equally as stylish and contemporary are the ceramic Vogue tiles. They have a very effective R12 non slip rating. That's quite the grip! Ideal for bringing charm and character to those damp, moist floors; whether it's in the bathroom or the wet room. They come in three eye-pleasing colourways; ranging from a deep, hypnotic Antracita purple, through to a rich Crema cream. Alternatively, bring your bathroom floor to life with the help of our River Pebble tiles. A collection of beautiful, shimmering pebbles in a mosaic arrangement, they will definitely bring non-slip qualities to the party! They resemble the natural beauty of a river bed.

The appeal of quarry tiles

Made from natural clay, quarry tiles have a gritty, grainy anti-slip surface. They will bring a traditional, rustic effect to your home. They're available in a selection of gorgeous natural colours; so you can choose which one best matches the feel of your room. Perhaps some dark, suave Aragon Charcoal quarry tiles? They have a lovely silky shine and will really capture the eye of your guests. On the other hand, traditional red quarry tiles bring a lovely, homely warmth into the room. It will brighten up dark floorboards, whilst at the same time giving you that added grip for extra safety in the bathroom or wet room. Ferrolite quarry tiles are a high quality choice when it comes to choosing red clay tiles. Need a helping hand tiling the bathroom floor? Take a look at our step by step how to tile a floor video from Walls and Floors.

A melhor solução disponível.

5) Pronto! Você já pode pisar no piso imediatamente. A área está liberada.

Perguntas frequentes:

Quanto tempo o tratamento dura?

Wheelchairs That Work Anywhere

For 20 years, an invention created by three United Methodist men has been changing lives. As of 2015, 50,000 disabled persons in 100 countries have received a device called a PET. Personal Energy Transport (PET) vehicles are all-terrain wheelchairs, designed for dirt roads and rugged places in developing countries. They require no motors or electricity. The mobility offered by PETs can bring people crippled by polio, land mines, or birth defects out into the world where they can provide for their families. The PET Mobility Project relies on donations and the work of dedicated United Methodist volunteers who meet weekly to build PETs to be shipped all over the world. “You can go and spend a couple of hours and go home and feel like you did something really productive for somebody you’ll never meet, who you’ve made a life-changing event for,” says PET volunteer, Roger Hofmeister.

No Lions Clube Curitiba Batel procuramos realizar serviços sociais educativos, assim conhecemos a professora Geane Poteriko e a Dra.

Team GEAR - Device Allows Gamers to Compete With Their Feet

(GYORGY LEVAY: I lost my hands about five years ago, because of Meningitis infection,)

... and I, I was a, I was a computer-game-playing person back in my youth and of course, after losing the hands, a lot of that stopped.

(UPBEAT MUSIC)

(GYORGY: Most games are very finger-use intense, and what we're trying to do is take away the need to have fingers or to be able to dexterously)

control games by giving functionality to the feet.

(GYORGY: So, with my team, we started developing what we call GEAR, which is Game-Enhancing Augmented Reality.)

(NATE TRAN: This is a very simple design,)

but it can potentially help a variety of people since it's wearable and it's adjustable, you can basically adjust it to the person's ability, and because it's wearable, you can move your feet freely when using it.

(Music)

GYORGY: We created something that, as we've, through our research of what kind of products are out there, we've found that it doesn't really exist right now, so that's why we're very excited about taking the project as far as possible.

(Music up, presenter audio fades up then out)

(ADAM LI: Working on this project was really rewarding because)

sometimes as an engineer, you're stuck in the classroom, you're learning about all these theories, but you don't really get to put it into practice.

(ADAM: This problem really allowed us to design a solution and actually implement it,)

and see how it's affecting people's lives.
